Mutual Escape is a collaborative project in which the participants are encouraged to seek a cooperative escape from their everyday confinements. The project aims at forming an extended network of the individuals and groups whose control over their lives become more autonomous and liberated from the life styles which were framed by the current societal systems such as the ad call, spam text messages, surveillance system, and from the life styles which focus on superficial signs and tastes rather than thinking and awareness. Our current daily lives are unconsciously tainted by aspects of consumerism. In this environment, each individual’s life is limited in its freedom. Through the project, people will engage with the creative works which serve as alternatives to the problem and experience the sense of escape from the daily life and transformation to more creative lives.
